What class do I belong in?
Sign up for show classes based on the level of your riding lessons. A student at the Intermediate Level would sign up for the Intermediate Classes etc.

There is cantering/loping in all "Pleasure" classes unless they specifically say "Walk/Trot".  For example: there are 2 Novice classes, Novice English Pleasure is for those beginner students that are comfortable cantering and Novice English Walk/Trot is for beginner students who only want to walk and trot.

English Equitation and Western Horsemanship are pattern classes where each rider will enter the ring individually and be asked to perform a set pattern. This class is open to Int./Adv. students as there may be cantering/loping. Beginners may join with the approval of their instructor.
What to wear on show day:
For the Western Classes, Girls should wear a form-fitting shirt. (Blouse-type shirts tend to hide the posture of the rider) Bright colors, sparkles, bedazzles, etc. are encouraged, stand out! Hair should be tied in a braid or low bun. Boys should wear a button down or flannel shirt. Either black or blue jeans are acceptable.

English riders are invited to dress the part with jackets and breeches if possible. For any Students without proper English gear, a solid colored polo-type shirt and jeans is acceptable.

Students should wear riding boots for all classes. Proper dress is encouraged but not strictly enforced, no points will be lost for not being dressed the part.

If you have any other questions please call or speak to your Instructor!
